Since the phased introduction of R32 refrigerant, we are always keen to trial new technologies prior to offering to our clients.
Our own R410a units were removed and replaced with R32 equivalents in 2017 and commissioned / routinely inspected.
Systems have been found to be energy efficient as well as benefiting from reduced overall refrigerant charge.
Satisfied that the systems meet our quality expectations we are now actively rolling out R32 systems to all our customers from small split type systems to larger high capacity solutions and look forward to introducing some of the upcoming vrv / vrf systems become available.
These systems are now offered where available allowing the end user to benefit from:
✓ Lower GWPs’s (675 as opposed to 2088 of R410a)
✓ Up to 20% less refrigerant charge.
✓ Improved efficiency, lowering carbon emissions and reducing energy costs
✓ Low-toxic, and, although flammable, is very difficult to ignite.
✓ Zero ozone depletion potential and as a single component is easy to recycle
